According to ospf design, every area must connect to area 0.If u dont want to connect area 3 to area 0(backbone area)the u will have to use virtual link between area 3 and area 2,provided area 2 connects to backbone area.If u dont connect to area 0 then area 3 will neither learn routes from other areas nor will form neighbhorship with other ospf routers

i want to ask some thing i am doing ospf lab: i want to connect area 3 to area 2 but area 3 is not connect connect area 0 ...... what problem i waill face can u tell me plzzz i will really thankful to you
